Hair chop for charity: the result!

He did it: our lovely tenant Lawrence had his hair cut for cancer by Natalie from our lettings team!

A while back, Lawrence mentioned to us that he planned to cut off his very long hair for charity. Natalie from our Lettings team had been a hairdresser for many years, before deciding a change of career was on the cards for her. This got her thinking, and she decided to come out of retirement for Lawrence’s charity hair chop. Our Holderness Road office became a salon for one lunchtime only!

We’re so pleased to say that Lawrence hit the £500 donation goal to the Little Princess Trust! Not only will they be receiving the donated hair, the £500 will be sent to them and used to create a wig for a cancer patient. You can hear more about the process, and costs involved on their website. 

Anything over the £500 goal is going to Yorkshire Cancer Research in memory of his late father, so any further donations would be truly appreciated. We’re also so pleased to say that the Lawrence raised surpassed the £500 target, and they will be receiving a donation too. You can also check out Yorkshire Cancer Research's website here.
