We believe your private information should be just that, private. However, to provide services to our clients we do need to collect some personal and financial information. This policy explains what we do and why we need do it.
 

What we collect

The level of information we require will depend on the service we offering to you and/ or our clients. We ask for your name address telephone numbers and email address for almost all services. We will need these details to provide the services and to comply with legislation. For clients purchasing properties or looking to take a tenancy with us we will need further information such as proof of address, passport/ drivers licenses, financial information such as the ability to obtain a mortgage, proof of cash, information to carry out credit check.
 

How we store the information

We take great care to keep your personal information safe, hard copies will be retained as required by legislation but will be carefully destroyed as soon as it is appropriate for us to do so.

Where information is stored on computer this is always password protected with secure firewalls.

What we do with the information

We will use the information we gather to carry out our duties to our clients and also to comply with current and future legislation.
 

Who we share the information with

We only share information with 3rd parties directly concerned in the services we offer such as passing details to solicitors when sales are agreed, financial advisors, surveyors, contractors vendors, deposit protection companies, credit reference agencies, landlords in connection with tenancies and sales etc. Please contact us if you have any concerns about this.

We do not and will not sell your data to any 3rd parties unless a part or all of our business was sold or transferred to another party. We may be required to provide your data to government bodies where we are legally obliged to do so on request.
 

Retention and Destruction

Upon request, any data may be removed provided removal will not affect the delivery of services such as a tenancy or affect legal compliance. For instance if you purchase a property from us we have to retain some information for a minimum period. If you require a copy of the information we hold then we will provide this free of charge.
